Hello there, faithful readers! It’s time for another holiday, as we reflect and show our appreciation for the working men and women who made this country what it is by cooking steaks and burgers on a grill and drinking a bunch of beer. Sounds perfect to me. So crack open an ice cold one and let’s all enjoy a Top 10 flashback!

Good evening, and welcome to Top 10 Flashback, our weekly “this week in…” feature. I’m your host.
This week we will go back to the last week of August 1977, and we will travel to Buffalo, New York, home of the Bills, Niagara Falls, and asshole-deep snow, and look at the top ten songs at AM 1400, WYSL. I know WKBW was the big station there, but this is the survey I found, so let’s go!

Hi, kids! It’s time for another Top 10 Flashback, Labor Day edition! I’m the guy who wastes his time doing this every week. Looking at what we’ve done so far, I see that we have been giving our friends out west short shrift, so let’s take a look at the top ten songs from this Labor Day and back to school week in 1974 according AM 1230, KRIZ in Phoenix. Survey dated September 2, 1974.

Well, what’s up, Saturday night shut-ins? It’s time once again for Top 10 Flashback, Saturday edition. What we’re going to do from now on is feature the 1960’s and 70’s on our Friday show, and give Saturdays to the young ‘uns with flashbacks from the 80’s, 90’s, and even 2000’s. I will admit that I stopped giving a shit after about 1985, but I feel we should get some younger people in these threads that have more to say than “music sucked back then.”

Hello once again, and welcome to Top 10 Flashback, an honored tradition since July 2013. I’m your host, Dick Fitzwell.
This week, we will go back to a superb year in music, 1970, and count down the top ten songs from this week using that music industry bible, the playlist of AM 630, KDWB in Minneapolis/St. Paul. This is what sweet, delectable, eminently fuckable Mary Richards may have been listening to in her Mustang on the way to work at WJM-TV.
You’re gonna make it after all, so on with the countdown!
